The logo concepts you see above was one of the first steps in this project. Debra needed a new logo that incorporated some elements from the ranch logo while still being a unique symbol of her western-themed artwork. We designed the logo and use it to inspire the color scheme for the new website.
eCommerce Solutions for Artists
For this project, we wanted to build up an eCommerce site so that Debra can sell her art directly online without going through a 3rd party. We choose WooCommerce for its ease of use. Debra was already familiar with WordPress, so it was the natural choice. We integrated with PayPal so that she can accept payment directly from the site. It was important that she was able to sell directly to the public since some of the services she had worked with in the past were charging large commissions on everything she sold. With WooCommerce, we are able to keep Debra in control of sales.
Debra Bruner Studio
Here’s a very early draft of the homepage. Once we sent over a proof, Debra changed her mind about the tiles. She decided that she wanted to feature one large image of a recent work on the homepage. So, we developed the new design you see today:
Now Debra can feature her most recent work prominently on the homepage. You can buy original watercolors right there, or dig deeper into the site by visiting the store.
